Cricket Namibia has rolled out a Legacy Program that ran alongside the tournament, which concluded on Saturday.

This initiative is designed to empower and upskill women while creating an impact that stretches beyond the boundary ropes.

The first session featured former Namibian national player, Salome Iyambo, who has proudly represented the country in both football and basketball, and also has experience as an international sport administrator.

Salome Iyambo shared insights on building a career beyond sport while staying true to one's passion, encouraging young players to think about life after competition.

Afra Schimming-Chase, Certified Financial Planner, a highly accomplished financial expert and entrepreneur, later delivered an impactful session on financial literacy, highlighting the importance of budgeting, smart saving, and investing.

Her session was made possible through the support of Capricorn Group, which partnered with Cricket Namibia to ensure women are equipped with practical tools for long-term empowerment.

The Legacy Program highlights Cricket Namibia's commitment to women's growth not only in cricket but also across sport and personal development, leaving a footprint that outlives the tournament itself.

By combining career guidance with financial literacy, the initiative takes a holistic approach to empowerment, ensuring women are prepared both on and off the field.

As the tournament unfolded on the field, the initiative ensured its impact will resonate long after the final ball is bowled.
