The Nedbank For Good Series finale officially teed off at the Omeya Golf Club with a special golf clinic for journalists.

The aim to give members of the media a firsthand feel for the sport they often report on.

From learning how to hold the club correctly to practicing their swing and even getting a feel for putting, journalists were put right into the shoes of professional golfers.

The highlight of the day was a friendly putting competition, where participants had to read the greens and navigate tricky obstacles.

DAMIAN DA SILVA said, "This is an amazing opportunity. Usually, journalists shine a spotlight on the players, but today the spotlight is on them. Now, they understand what golfers actually go through on the course."

The clinic was more than just a fun day out; it gave the storytellers of sport a new appreciation for the game.
