Police are investigating another suspected break-in at the Katima Mulilo Town Council, which occurred between Friday night and Saturday morning.

A preliminary report from NamPol spokesperson Chief Inspector Kisco Sitali states that the suspects entered the building through the roof, breaking through the ceiling and gaining access to multiple offices, including the cash hall and the property office in the planning department.

Sitali confirmed that so far, a computer unit is missing and a laptop was destroyed.

This is the second break-in using the same method, following an incident reported at the end of September. It was later followed by a fire in the town planning department in October.
