President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has appointed Kristofine Naunyango as Advisor to the Minister of Works and Transport and Manager of the Public Asset Management Agency, an entity under the Ministry of Works and Transport.
The appointment, which takes effect on 1 January 2026, is for a 5-year term.
“The appointment is made in accordance with Article 32(3)(i)(hh) of the Constitution of the Republic of Namibia, read together with the Special Advisors and Regional Governors Appointment Act, 1990 (Act No. 6 of 1990), as amended,” the Presidency said in a statement.
Naunyango most recently served as Head of Legal Services and Regulatory Affairs at Telecom Namibia from August 2025 and previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at the now-dissolved Namibia Post and Telecom Holdings until 2024.
