First-time author, premarital counsellor, and wedding consultant, Fabiola Ruzo, launched her book Marry Right and Stay Married on Valentine’s Day, describing the date as fitting for a publication focused on lasting love.
The launch comes amid rising divorce rates in Namibia. Ruzo said many couples prepare for the wedding but not for marriage itself, and often fail to maintain individuality within relationships. Her guidance is based on godly principles drawn from her experiences counselling singles and married couples.
Vice President Lucia Witbooi, who delivered the keynote address, called the book a practical tool for promoting responsible relationships. She raised concern over the growing number of divorce cases and urged young people to approach marriage with preparation and reflection, saying strong families are key to national stability.
