Namibia is hosting the J60 International Tennis Tournament, attracting junior tennis players from several countries.
The competition includes players from South Africa, the Philippines, Zimbabwe, Norway, and Poland, competing for ranking points and titles.
The tournament started on Monday, with players competing for international ranking points and titles.
Tournament Director Larushka Kruger commented on the progress of the competition and the level of play.
Namibia's Israel Dowie is the only local player to reach the semi-finals and has secured a place in the final.
Dowie advanced to the ITF J60 boys' singles final after defeating Mattis Thorsnes of Norway 6-3, 6-4 in today's semi-final match. He will face Juliusz Stanczyk of Poland, who defeated South Africa's Ohlule Senti 6-1, 7-5.
South African player Botshelo Diseko spoke about participating in the tournament.
Zimbabwean player Chanelle Zhukwani spoke about the level of competition and playing against international opponents.
The final is scheduled for tomorrow at 9 a.m., where the winner of the tournament will be decided.
