Vevangaune Mungendje, Martin Stephanus and William Boois, who are accused of robbing an American tourist couple at Otjiwarongo this week, have been remanded in custody.
The trio reportedly robbed the victims in the parking lot of a local lodge.
The suspects made away with wallets, luggage, laptops and US$800.
All the stolen items were recovered when the getaway vehicle was stopped at a roadblock in Kalkfeld.
Magistrate Gianni Beakus denied the accused bail due to the seriousness of the offence.
The state also wants to establish whether the accused have pending cases and the likelihood of interference with police investigations.
The matter is postponed to the 11th of November.
