The Swapo Party candidates were in the Omaheke Region to sell their vision and solicit support for their candidacy. 

The Omaheke Region has 38 delegates whom the candidates must convince to support them. 

Those running for the top position of Vice President are Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila and Pohamba Shifeta. 

Contesting for Secretary-General are Sophia Shaningwa and Armas Amukwiyu.

The position of the Deputy Secretary-General is being contested by Lucia Witbooi, Uahekua Herunga, Eveline Nawases-Taeyele and David Hamutenya.
