Fifteen cattle have died as a result of a stampede at a water point at Epukiro RC in Omaheke, after spending more than three days without water.
The Epukiro RC Headman, Adelbertus Madi, told nbc News that the cattle that died were part of livestock that the government donated seven years ago to uplift the community.
The number of livestock had since grown from 50 to more than two hundred.
Community members have been urged to attend meetings where matters of development are discussed.
