A book that aims to promote Namibia's natural, nourishing food was launched in Windhoek.

The cookbook will serve as an easy guide on how to diversify one's diet by using locally available ingredients and cooking equipment.

The book also encourages the use of indigenous foods and represents the diversity of Namibia's cuisines, culture, and lifestyle.

The book contains 50 recipes, divided into six categories of meals based on fruits, fish, mopane worms, chicken, legumes and whole grains.

The colourful book is part of the GIZ Farming for Resilience Project, which supports the Ministry of Agriculture, Water, and Land Reform to increase the climate, social, and economic resilience of the food and agriculture sector in Namibia.

The book can be bought for N$230.00 and funds collected will go towards the reprinting of the cheaper version to be distributed in communities and be used for training purposes.

However, a free soft copy is available by request on GIZ's social media platforms.
