The African Pathfinder Leaders Initiative celebrated its 4th year of existence.
The group, founded by young, innovative Namibians, has trained more than 360 youth in entrepreneurship, community development, and leadership.
Founded four years ago, the African Pathfinder Leaders Initiative is a youth development organization aimed at building bridges leading to opportunities.
The initiative also ensures that youth have access to skills, resources, and networking to achieve their personal goals and actively contribute to development in their communities and beyond.
Deputy Minister of Sport, Youth and National Services, Emma Kantema-Gaomas, commended the initiative and the impact it continues to have on young people.
The Deputy Minister further encouraged the initiative to not leave the boy-child behind, as the cohort mainly consists of women. APLI also launched their website. Applications for 2023 are open on their website and participants from Hardap, ||Kharas, Zambezi, and the two Kavango regions are encouraged to apply.
