The Playtime Hub in Kuisebmond is a place of activity every morning during weekdays, with preschool children from around Walvis Bay visiting the facility to take part in the multi-sport programme that is hosted by Playtime Namibia.

The multi-sport programme kicked off earlier this year and currently has pre-schoolers from 23 registered pre-primary schools in Kuisebmond and Narraville participating.

The project is an initiative of Playtime Namibia, with the aim to help pre-primary schools in the city with a safe and fun environment to play sport in.

Organisers and administrators at Playtime believe that it is pivotal to help a child develop a sense of passion for sports and active living.

The multi-sport programme's approach is to expose kids to a variety of sports and physical activities; and  to teach them to work as a team and be a good sport while competing.

It is envisaged that participants in the programme improve coordination and muscle control.

The Pre-Primary Multi-Sport Program will end on the 15th of December and restart two weeks after the schools commence in 2023.
