CBS Academy's Under-15 team and Riverheights Football Academy's Under-17 team emerged as the winners of the 2022 MTC Hopsol Youth Soccer League season, which concluded on Sunday at the Jan Mohr Sports Field in Windhoek.

The MTC Hopsol Youth Soccer League's 2022 season concluded this past weekend as CBS Academy won gold in the under 15 category. 

The league is played in a group format, as it hosts both school and academy teams and consists of many different age groups.
 
CBS Academy was up against Kaizen Football Academy in the under 15 Final. The new kids on the block came out victoriously as Ebson Mbaha scored a late winner to defeat Kaizen Football Academy by a goal to nil.
 
Later on, Riverheights faced Athletic Club FA in the under 17 final. The powerful boys from the Goreangab Dam area managed to win the match by a single goal scored by Edward Veikko to be crowned the under 17 2022 Hopsol Youth Soccer League Champions.
 
CBS Academy Coach Willem Mwedihanga said that he is grateful to his boys and the teams that participated in the league.
 
The league ended this past weekend as examinations are fast approaching.
