Top flight football will return to the pitch for the first time in three years when Katutura-based African Stars and the students of Unam clash in the opening match of the Debmarine Namibia Premiership on Sunday.

The match between African Stars and Unam will take place at the Hage Geingob Stadium on Sunday at four o'clock.

The match will be the only to be played this weekend.

It was moved to the Hage Geingob Stadium instead of Unam Stadium  to accomodate the sea of African Stars fans who are expected to make their presence felt and come to the venue in large numbers.

Nbc Sport learned from a reliable source that the availability of the stadiums remains an issue ahead of the league's kick-off, which resulted in other matches not to be played this weekend.
