Namibian boxer Flame "Special One" Nangolo scooped the WBA Super feather weight title Saturday night by beating Nondana Ncube from Zimbabwe with an unanimous decision at the Nampower Convention Centre in Windhoek.
The event was promoted by the AC Boxing Academy.
Amongst others, Shitana Kareb of Erongo Boxing Club won a 6 rounder heavyweight category by beating Sirongo Kasera on points.
The main supporting bout saw Alfeus Shaanika taking on Stefanus Joshua Kakolo in the junior welterweight division.
Also known as Mosquito, Shaanika proved too good for Kakolo on points.
The main bout saw Namibia's Flame Nangolo taking on Ndodana Ncube from neighboring Zimbabwe, for the WBA Superfeather weight African title.
It was evident from round one that both boxers were ready for each other with their eyes surely on the elusive continental title.
After 12 rounds of entertaining boxing in which no mercy was shown, it was time for the judges to pronounced themselves.
The newly crowned WBA Super Feather weight at his first attempt Flame "The Special One" Nangolo could not hide his excitement on the night.
