Interventions that threaten peace and security feature prominently on the agenda of the two-day the Extra-Ordinary Troika Summit of SADC Heads of State and Government tomorrow.

The SADC Organ on Politics, Defence and Security Cooperation will be specifically concentrating on peace and security in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Eswatini and Mozambique.

Peace and Security have been under threat for years in some countries with thousands of people killed and millions fleeing their countries.

The summit will provide progress on the review process, the SADC contingency plan on the implementation of joint strategy, as well as lasting solutions for political, peace and stability.

President Hage Geingob is the Chairperson of the SADC organ assisted by the President of Zambia and incoming Chair Hakainde Hichilema and South African President Cyril Ramaphosa the Outgoing Chairperson of the SADC organ.
