Several Katutura-based high schools held their interhouse competition earlier today at the Independence Stadium in Windhoek.
Five schools from Katutura held their interhouse athletics competition earlier today, with plenty of talent on display.
The participating schools were CJ Brandt,Hage Geingob,Havana Project,A.Shipena and Highline.
As the host, CJ Brandt High School principal Elizabeth Katjita explained what the event was all about and which purpose it served.
It was the battle of the Katutura giants as all schools came in big numbers to cheer their athletes on, who appeared well-prepared for the task ahead.
With the event attracting large numbers of participants from different schools,some shared their feelings towards the initiative.
Representatives from the schools are calling on more institutions to join the competition in future.
