The former Brave Warriors midfielder Oliver Risser who is a Sport Director at DTS is pleading with football in the country not to fall back again.

Oliver Risser is a former footballer with  31 caps for the Brave Warriors. He is one of the few Namibians who played outside the country having traded his skills in Norway, Finland, England and Belgium.

The former midfielder hanged up his soccer boots eight years ago but he return to active sport as a Sport Director and youth football coach at DTS, a role he wants to utilise as a way of ploughing back in local football.

Risser further said, it is very difficult to get an opportunity to play in one of the competitive leagues.

His current DTS football team is in the first division and the dream is to play in the top-flight league soon.
