Trade Unions at Walvis Bay have pleaded with the Fisheries Minister to intervene in what they described as exploitation of workers, especially in the snoek sector. They have also asked Derek Klaazen to resolve the municipality's alleged unwillingness to provide land to fishing companies to build houses for employees.
