The Landless People's Movement (LPM) is dissatisfied with the level and progression of decentralisation in Namibia.

The Minister of Information and Communication Technology unveiled the official Heroes Day logo and theme at the Government Information Centre.

Emma Theofelus announced that the logo will represent the Heroes Day commemoration for the next five years of the 8th administration. 

Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) chief investigator Oberty Inambao has outlined details of more than 400 million dollars allegedly embezzled from NAMCOR during ongoing bail proceedings in the Windhoek Magistrate's Court.

The Erongo Regional Council is refusing to reinstate Arandis Constituency councillor, Benitha Imbamba, as Chairperson, despite a High Court order.

The Council held a special meeting at Swakopmund.

President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah paid tribute to the late former Chief of the Namibian Defence Force, Solomon Hawala, saying his legacy will forever be etched in the annals of Namibia’s history, serving as a constant reminder of the sacrifices made for freedom. 

Hawala died on Monday, aged 89.
