The parish pastor at the Roman Catholic Church in Wanaheda described Pope Francis' death as a huge loss.

Dr. Wilhelm Eita says although the Pope has been sick for a while, they were hopeful he would get better and continue leading the church.

Works and Transport Minister Veikko Nekundi has announced the upgrade of the 105 kilometers gravel to tar road between Khorixas and Kamanjab. 

Nekundi made this announcement at a consultation meeting between the Ministry, Roads Authority and traditional authorities at Khorixas in the Kunene Region.
