President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has extended condolences to the Maasdorp family following the tragic death of their five-year-old daughter, Ingrid.

The Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Emma Theofelus, has reiterated the government's efforts to provide access to ICT services in rural areas.

Theofelus stated that the government and its stakeholders have been working to make ICT services accessible in remote areas.

A retired agricultural extension officer and a farmer in Omaheke's Rietfontein area, Edward Kaseraera, has urged women and young people to take a lead in agriculture.

Kaseraera made this remark during a farmers engagement day held at Okandjoze in the Otjombinde Constituency.
