The Monetary Policy Committee of the Bank of Namibia has decided to keep the repo rate unchanged at 6.75%.

The Minister of Education, Innovation, Sport, Youth, Arts and Culture, Sanet Steenkamp, in her maiden address, pledged to lead with honesty and conviction by committing to crafting policies that safeguard vulnerable people while opposing wasteful expenditure even if it means challenging powerful interests.

Over 350 students graduated from the Namibian College of Open Learning (NAMCOL) and received certificates, diplomas, degrees, and postgraduate diplomas in the fields of welding, plumbing, office administration, entrepreneurship, and early childhood development.
