The Ondonga Traditional Authority will drill boreholes in villages of the Ohangwena Region that border with Oshikoto to address water scarcity.

Farmers resettled in the ||Kharas Region have voiced their concerns surrounding the resettlement programme. 

Among the issues raised is access to the farming land as others have occupied the farms, lack of functional boreholes, and dilapidated infrastructure.

The ||Kharas Resettled Farmers Association has expressed concern over the slow service delivery of the Water and Fencing Rehabilitation Programme under the Ministry of Agriculture, Water, and Land Reform.
