The Supreme Court has overturned a High Court ruling that prevented the National Fishing Corporation of Namibia (Fishcor) from calling Maren de Klerk to testify via video link in its civil case linked to the Fishrot scandal.

The US and Ukrainian sides held talks in Berlin at the start of the week and with European leaders on Monday night. 

South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has been elected Interim Chairperson of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) at a virtual extraordinary summit of Heads of State and Government.

Zambian President Hakainde Chilema was appointed Deputy SADC Chair.

The Environmental Investment Fund (EIF) has approved 26 institutional grants worth more than N$3,7 million, benefiting individuals across various priority sectors.

Of the approved grants, 8 are youth-led projects and 11 are female-led.

Leaders of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), including Namibia's President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, are holding a Virtual Extraordinary Summit of SADC Heads of State and Government to elect an interim chairperson of the regional grouping.
