Eswatini's former Deputy Prime Minister, Themba Masuku, will lead the SADC Electoral Observation Mission (SEOM) to Malawi for its elections slated for September 16th.

Otjiwarongo residents took to the streets in protest against imposed penalties for damaged water meters and irregularities in terms of plot allocation in the area.

Aggrieved residents claimed unfair penalties are being charged, of over one thousand dollars, by the municipality.

The lockout action, sparked by an alleged irregular appointment, brought council operations to a standstill for the entire Thursday.
