The Minister of Works and Transport inaugurated the newly appointed members of the Engineering Council of Namibia (ECN) in Windhoek today (Monday).

1,061 cadet constables are undergoing nine months of basic training at the Ruben Danger Ashipala Police Training Centre at Ondangwa, in the Oshana Region.

The training aims to develop them into officers capable of serving the community with fairness and professionalism.

Former President Hifikepunye Pohamba has expressed gratitude to the Namibian people for their well-wishes and continued support over the decades.

In an interview with NBC News at his Okanghudi residence, Pohamba reflected on his life journey.

An event aimed at supporting the upcoming Mega Hackathon, under the recently launched Comprehensive Digital Strategy, gathered a range of contributions from participants, including both financial and non-monetary pledges.

In an effort to have more young people participate in the National Youth Development Fund, the Otjozondjupa Region trained youth on how to write business plans while answering questions they might have regarding the application process.

The training took place in Otjiwarongo.
