The One Economy Foundation raised N$3,422,900 at a fundraising dinner celebrating its 10th anniversary, themed "A Decade of Weaving Legacy and Stitching Futures," in Windhoek on Thursday.

One Economy Foundation Head of Operations, Saddam Biwa, announced the total amount raised at the event.

Health and Social Services Minister Dr. Esperance Luvindao has said that 95,729 cumulative malaria cases were recorded countrywide since the outbreak began in 2024.

Minister of Urban and Rural Development, James Sankwasa, said the absence of a stormwater drainage system is an emergency that poses a danger to Rundu residents.

Sankwasa emphasised that immediate action is needed, as there are only three months left before the rainy season begins.

Centenarian and liberation struggle veteran Hulda Isaaks has died at her home in Gibeon in the Hardap Region, aged 107. 

The Witbooi clan's traditional leader, Josephat Witbooi, confirmed the death of Hulda Isaaks.
