Boxers ready to rumble on Saturday

Both boxers in the main bout, Betuel "Tyson" Ushona and Poland's Rafal Jackiewicz on Wednesday posed for pictures at the customary face-off, ahead of their physical confrontation for the vacant WBC international title at Ramatex on Saturday evening. From the look of things, no mercy will be shown in the ring. For Ushona, the bout offers him another shot at the title after his controversial split decision loss to Germany's Deniz Ilbay at Walvisbay in June this year. “Winning I am gonna win, but it is a matter of how I win it, i want to be impressive, show my skills for me to remain at this level”, concluded Uushona at the well-attended press conference.. Out: Speaking through an interpreter, Ushona's opponent said he is not on holiday in Namibia, but on a mission to become a world champion. “My opponent is quiet a tough guy, so I am prepared for 12 rounds, but my aim is to win”, said the Polish boxer Rafal Jackiewicz. The IBO Africa title bout involving Lukas Ndafoluma will not take place as scheduled, due to time constraints from the world body to appoint officials on time. Ndafoluma will however fight opponent Walter Dlamini from South Africa in a no-title showdown on the same card. Damage at the gate is 100 Namibia dollars for the general public, 500 Namibia dollars for VIPs, while a table of 10 goes for 20-thousand Namibia dollars, and tickets are available at service stations and car outlets.
