This weekend's beach Volleyball action at the coast came to an end with Hot Beaches and HKPS4 battling it out for the top spot in the final. The one-day event saw 22 teams coming from as far as South Africa and Zimbabwe to take part in some spirited Beach Volleyball action at Long beach. In the final encounter, Hot Beaches and team HKPS4 battled it out in a three-set match to win the first prize of N$20 000. Both teams brought their A-game, however, it was team Hot Beaches, who walked away with the top prize at the end of the day. NBC Sport caught up with James Verrinder from Timeout Beach Volleyball Academy to hear what his take on the event was. "It was a crazy event today. The weather was a bit cool this morning and we were a bit worried the sun won't come and see us. Luckily, as the sun came out everything was rocking. It was really great to see so many Volleyball players playing so well,"he said. Second and third place winners each received their winning of N$10 000 and N$5 000 respectively.
