I can add value to this cause – Bobby Samaria

Newly appointed interim coach of the Brave Warriors Bobby Samaria says he is up to the challenge and keen on adding value in leading the Brave Warriors in the CHAN qualifiers. Samaria and assistant coach Woody Jacobs had their first training session with the players at the NFA technical centre in preparation for their away encounter against Comoros Island on the 26th of this month. Subsequently, Samaria said every club coach has ambitions to coach the national team one day and this is his opportunity to showcase his experience. “I take it in my stride and grateful for the opportunity that the normalisation committee deem it fit to turn to me in their hour of need. Who am I not to answer the call. I'm a patriotic Namibian and I think I can add value the course” Samaria said. The majority of the called up players reported for training and Samaria was thus happy with their response. “First day of training, response is tremendous, we are only left with a week and the focus in morning sessions will always be conditioning, lucky we have Charl who has worked with them before. We did bib test today and the majority went beyond the thresh hold only two players who are under and that is understandable those players are carrying injuries” he said. In regard to the upcoming encounter against Comoros. Samaria explained that they have to improve on the away record, remembering that Namibia lost 2 -1 in 2017 in the same competition.
