IBO/IBF champion Indongo returns home

Namibian boxing champion Julius Indongo arrived safely in Namibia today, after being crowned IBO/IBF champion over the weekend in Russia. Indongo, who made global headlines over the weekend when he knocked out Eduard Troyanovsky of Russia in the initial 40 seconds of the first round, arrived safely in Windhoek this morning. This was revealed by his promoter Nestor Tobias at a press conference that took place in Windhoek today. "The plan was to move and jab and hit the target all the time and not to make mistakes and to work on his defence and the champ was very confident." Tobias said. Indongo will go down in history as the first-ever Namibian boxer to win two titles in one night. According to him, this would not have been possible without his camp paving the way and preparing him for this challenge. "When I prepared for this fight I was very focussed and the comittment was there. All the punches that i threw kept me aware of what I was doing. I just didnt know wether it could destroy him." Indongo explained. Asked when the Blue Machine will step into the ring again and defend his title, Nestor said it's still too early for this kind of deliberation. He, however, declared that an announcement would be made in the future, if a decision in this regard has been taken.
