Indongo back at state house

IBF/IBO and WBA world boxing champion Julius "Blue Machine" Indongo presented his unified titles to President Hage Geingob at State House earlier today. When Julius "Blue Machine" Indongo left the local shores for unfamiliar territory in Glasgow, Scotland, he made a promise to President Hage Geingob that he would deliver. He made good on this promise when he outscored Ricky Burns last Saturday. His achievement did not go unnoticed by the Head of State, who invited him to visit State House to showcase his three belts today. "I watched the fight, you dominated from the start to the end. So you were not scared of him. On behalf of the Government we congratulate you, and keep up the good work." Geingob said. On his part, Indongo was happy to be rubbing shoulders with the President once again. "I am here to see our senior leaders. Their words are encouraging us to do more, and this serves the sport in the country." He responded. The occassion was also graced by the Minister of Sport Jerry Ekandjo, Windhoek Municipality Chief Executive Officer Kahimise and Mayor Kazapua Muesee.
