Kautondokwa challenger Godoy arrived in Windhoek

Argentinian boxer Billy Godoy, who is said to fight Walter Kautondokwa at the Legacy fight hosted by the MTC Nestor Sunshine Tobias Boxing and Fitness Academy on the 20th of March in Windhoek, is in Namibia for the fight. Walter "The Executioner" Kautondokwa's opponent from Argentina, Billy Goody is in town to ready himself for their upcoming fight. The promoter of MTC Nestor Sunshine Tobias Boxing and Fitness Academy Nestor Tobias hosted a press conference on Wednesday to introduce the Argentinian to the media. Goody will take on the undefeated Kautondokwa, who is rated by the WBO as world's number five in line for the WBO Africa title. Explaining why a Latin American should be vying for an African title, Tobias said the main agenda of the fight is for both fighters to climb up in the ranks. Speaking through an Interpreter, Godoy said he can't wait for the 20th of March to get into the ring. “I don't know much about the Kautondokwa besides from one video that is online. They are hiding his videos online, but I have fought experienced boxers in my career. I want to improve my rankings, so I am here to beat that boy and challenger for bigger fights” Godoy said. Kautondokwa was not present at the press conference as Tobias explained that Kautondokwa is training tirelessly for the fight. The Independence Boxing Bonanza known as the Legacy fight will take place at Ramatex Complex in Windhoek on the 20th of March, with close to 14 undercards on the night. It was also announced that the faceoff will take place tomorrow at Post Street Mall in the CBD on Thursday.
