Windhoek- Kinda Promotions is still very much alive and has a lot to offer - although things at the stable have been quiet for some time now. This was said by promotions chairman Kinda Nangolo in an interview with NBC Sport on Tuesday. The last time the stable was active was in June of this year when boxer Anthony Jarmann challenged Tanzanian Salehe Mkalekwa for the WBA Pan African Super Welterweight title in Swaziland, which he won. In an exclusive interview with NBC Sport Kinda Nangolo of Kinda Boxing Promotions said today that his stable is still very active and currently looking for opportunities for their boxers outside the country. He said that it's not only his stable but most stables in the country that are aiming for fights outside the borders as the economic situation makes it difficult for them to stage big fights or tournaments in Namibia. But what should the stables do to make sure that they bring boxing to the fans? " The economic you can understand, but there's something you can do without economy. We could not blame money and even development. To develop amateur team, the board can also do something or they can even meet with the promoters and the coaches and the chairman of the board. Those things which should not cry about" Nangolo said. Nangolo also said that for now his boxers are training in the gym to stay fit and in shape to be ready when an opportunity knocks. The promoter also told NBC Sport that Jarmann will be stepping into the ring in the next two months with an opponent still to be revealed to defend his WBA Pan African Super Welterweight title.
