Namibia Football Association dismisses it's president Frans Mbidi

Windhoek-The NFA Executive Committee which took place in Windhoek on Saturday has dismissed its President Frans Mbidi with immediate effect until the 12th of January next year's when the Association's Congress takes place. NFA Speaking at a press conference held at the NFA Soccer House on Sunday NFA's 1st Vice President Dr Naftali Ngalangi who is now the Acting NFA President says they resolved in terms of article 35 to get rid of Mbidi based on the following reasons. Ngalangi also sressed that they invited Mbidi to make his presence at Saturday's meeting but he failed to pitch-on and their decision to dismissed him was boosted by a quorum. He further stated that they also informed Mbidi of their decision through an email. Efforts to get hold of Mbidi through his two mobile phones proved unsuccessful as both went unanswered at the time of publishing.
