History was made between "The Dome indoor sport center in Swakopmund and The Real Madrid Foundation after the two conducted a football coaching clinic for youngsters who came from different parts of the country. More than 200 kids between the ages of 6 and 15 and 35 volunteer coaches were trained during the event. The mentoring and coaching were conducted by professional coaches selected by Real Madrid Foundation and Real Madrid’s youth academy at their headquarters in Madrid, Spain. The objective of the clinics was to export the values of Real Madrid football club by teaching the methodology used in the club’s youth academy. The coaches shared their wisdom and knowledge with the Namibians on the soccer pitch, and exposed the participants to techniques used by one of the top football clubs in La Liga. Carlos Albert revealed that this is just the beginning for Real Madrid Foundation and The Dome Swakopmund to collaborate and more exciting projects are expected.
