Ushona hands WBF World title to Ivula-Ithana

The Salute Boxing Academy handed over Tyson Ushona's WBF world title to their patron, Home Affairs Minister Pendukeni Ivula-Ithana. On her side, Ivula-Ithana who was the first-ever Minister of Sport after independence thanked the academy for their efforts leading to producing the champion, as well as developing sport. “Sport is not only about winning every time, but it’s about moulding characters, therefore I am happy that Salute Boxing is doing that, the Minister said. The Salute boxing stable also shared their plans for next year, indicating that they want to meet Government halfway to develop sport in the country together. The Minister will keep the belt for two weeks before handing it back to the stable, which is tasked with organising the defence of it next year.
