Walvisbay Primary School geared up for semi

After winning their quarter final 36-7 last weekend, the under 13 rugby team of the Primary School Walvisbay is now ready for their quest to capture the under-13 A cup in the Namibia Sport Union primary school's rugby league. After an easy quarter final last weekend in Windhoek, the boys were practising tirelessly this past week for their upcoming semi-final game against Orban's under-13 team. The two teams met twice this year in friendly games already and the Walvisbay boys came out on the losing side. This is, however, not stopping them from believing that they can change things around as the team is ready for the encounter by virtue of all the hard work put in during the season and the recent quarter final win. Forward Captain of the team Leon Kuhn, said their team preparations are going well. “It was a build up to the semi-final and each game we take on a separate course. We are planning for the new game on Saturday and the gays are preparing very well. Hopefully will we stick to the game plan and come out victoriously,” he added. The players are pleased about having come so far in the 2017 rugby season and believe their hard work will pay off. Eight semi-final games will be played on Saturday at the United Sport grounds in the under 11 to under 13 super league.
