The Health Professions Council of Namibia (HPCNA) has warned the public against registering at institutions or healthcare-related courses that are not recognized by the council.

In a media statement issued on Friday, the HPCNA advised the public to verify the approval status of the courses with the Education and Training Quality Assurance Department of the HPCNA.

This comes after an institution by the name of Windhoek Medical University advertised registrations for certificate, diploma, and degree programs in various healthcare-related fields on social media.
