Low turnout at Africa Youth in Tourism Innovation Summit and Challenge

Africa Tourism Partners Chief Executive Officer, Kwakye Donkor, says this year's Africa Youth in Tourism Innovation Summit and Challenge has registered a low turnout compared to last year.

Donkor highlighted this in an interview with nbc News ahead of the Africa Youth in Tourism Innovation Summit and Challenge at Swakopmund, where about 38 countries from Africa will be taking part either physically or virtually.

The Africa Youth in Tourism Innovation Summit and Challenge is being hosted by the Ministry of Environment, Forestry, and Tourism.

BIPA concerned over low turnout of business registrations

The Business and Intellectual Property Authority has expressed concern over a low turnout of business registrations. 

The authority says it has observed a 7.3 percent decline in the registrations of businesses.

BIPA recorded more than 12 000 registrations on its business register for the period January to December last year, compared to 2021 when the Authority recorded a total of 13 594 registrations.
