President Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah has urged Namibians to embrace modern technology while fiercely protecting their cultural identity.

The Minister of Defence and Veterans Affairs, Frans Kapofi, has warned against incompetence among members of the force, while reaffirming the need to modernise defence capabilities and strengthen civil-military coordination.

The week-long international roundtable on the review and modernization of Namibia's outdated corporate laws is underway in Windhoek.

The review is aimed at encouraging investment and innovation through the adoption of an effective and predictable regulatory business environment.
