Sanlam Namibia will go the extra mile on the 29th of April when they host a coastal marathon. The Sanlam Coastal Marathon will return next month after a three-year break, with this year's edition being hosted at Swakopmund. 

Over three hundred and fifty people have signed up so far, with registrations still coming in. Four race categories are lined up for the day, including 5 km and 10 km walk and runs and 21 and 42.2 km runs.

Sanlam Namibia launched the 2023 Coastal Marathon on Friday in Windhoek. The event is scheduled to take place next month.

The 2023 Coastal Marathon is scheduled for the 29th of April and will feature 4 different categories, catering from beginners up until the elite classes with 5, 10, 21 & 42.2km races.

Apart from the action on the day, competitors running in the full marathon race can also use the Sanlam Coastal Marathon as qualification for the Comrades "Down Run" marathon later this year in June.
