The community of Omaalala in the Oshana Region held their first-ever expo to raise funds for the back-to-school drive, such as school uniforms and other essentials.

The Namibia Institute of Public Administration and Management (NIPAM), in collaboration with the Office of the Prime Minister, inaugurated the Prime Minister's Annual Charity Foundation Gala Dinner. 

The Namibia Fish Consumption Promotion Trust's (NFCPT) gala dinner held in Rundu raised more than N$324,000. 

The money will be used for educational and social development projects in the Kavango East Region.

The Keetmanshoop Agricultural Industrial and Tourism Expo (KAITE) held a fundraising gala dinner where it raised more than N$300,000 for this year's event, scheduled to take place at the end of next month.

Seaside Primary School at Walvis Bay raised over N$100,000 for the construction of an administration building.

Seaside Primary School at Kuisebmond, Walvis Bay, opened doors in 2017, with 600 learners and 19 teachers.

This figure has since increased to 1,700 children with about 60 staff members.

Otjiwarongo-based charity organisation Omake raised N$20,000 at a fundraising dinner in pledges towards the establishment of a safe place for vulnerable children and people with disabilities.

The construction of the centre is estimated to cost more than N$3 million.

A galaxy fundraising dinner raised more than N$130,000 for the upcoming Otjinene Expo, scheduled to take place between the 24th and 30th of April.
