Young entrepreneurs called to take advantage of the African Continental Free Trade Area

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, is calling on local young entrepreneurs to take advantage of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA).

Nandi-Ndaitwah made the remarks during a public lecture on the 60th anniversary of the African Union in Windhoek.

Nandi-Ndaitwah believes that the AfCFTA has the potential to lift Africans out of poverty, ultimately bringing about the continent's prosperity.

10th AFTRA teaching and learning conference to be held in Windhoek

The Ministry of Education, Arts, and Culture (MoEAC), in collaboration with the Africa Federation of Teaching Regulatory Authorities (AFTRA) and the Namibia National Teachers Union (NANTU), will conduct the 10th AFTRA teaching and learning conference in Windhoek from May 9 to 12.

The theme for this year’s event is ‘Transforming Education in Africa: Teachers, Teaching, and the Teaching Profession'.
