49-year-old Tuutileni Mika appeared in the Ondangwa Magistrate's Court on charges of murder, attempted murder, theft of a bicycle, discharge of a firearm, and threat to kill. following a shooting at Henning Crusher in Ondangwa on Friday.
A resident of Keetmanshoop, Hans Jaartze, was sentenced to seven years imprisonment for a knife murder.
26-year-old Jaartze pleaded guilty to a murder charge at the start of his trial in the Keetmanshoop Regional Court.
He blamed alcohol for taking the life of his victim.
In the Windhoek High Court, Judge Christi Liebenberg has acquitted siblings Azaan Madisia (30) and Steven Mulundu (25) on a charge of murder.
The siblings were also found not guilty of robbery charges. The verdict has, however, left a bad taste in the mouths of some.
