The Minister of Works and Transport, John Mutorwa, has underscored the crucial role the road network plays as a lifeline of communities. 

He said this while officiating at the opening of the recently rehabilitated portion of the Tses to !Gochas B1 road between Keetmanshoop and Mariental. 

The Minister of Finance and Public Enterprises, Ipumbu Shiimi, has directed public entities not to enter into financial agreements that exempt lenders from the required tendering processes as stated in the Procurement Act.
