Namibians awarded scholarships to boost green hydrogen industry

In an effort to ensure that Namibia is ready to develop its green hydrogen industry and related human resources capabilities, Namibians are awarded scholarships to learn, conduct research, and upskill.

This programme was designed to ensure the output of trained Namibians who are fit for the Green Hydrogen Energy Project.

The six-month mobility programme is scheduled to begin in Germany in the coming weeks and is aimed at skill development and capacity building.

Frank Mungunda is one of the beneficiaries of the Namibia Green Hydrogen Scholarship Programme.

State House has dismissed claims made by a local daily newspaper, which alleged that President Hage Geingob had warned locals against interfering in the Hyphen Hydrogen Energy green hydrogen project.

In a statement, the presidency says Dr. Geingob was urging Namibians not to miss out on the transformative opportunity of green hydrogen.
