The Directorate of Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigations has released the final safety report on the Swakopmund helicopter crash, which claimed the lives of Chief Pilot Jacques Jacobs (54) and aviation engineer Dirk Von Weidts (29).

The Erongo Police have released the names of the two people who died in a helicopter accident near the Swakopmund airport.

One of the deceased was 54-year-old Jacques Jacobs, a Chief Pilot and Pilot Instructor at the Flying School Company.
