Russia's Ambassador to Namibia, Dmitry Lobach, visited the Venezuelan Embassy today to sign a book of condolences honouring Venezuelans and Cubans killed in the January 3 attack and kidnapping of President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores.

Africa's position on the Russia-Ukraine conflict is clear, and that is to de-escalate tension and allow dialogue to ensue, says President Hage Geingob.

He reiterated this position during brief talks with Russia's new Ambassador to Namibia, Dmitry Lobach, at State House.
